Fluted Jewelry Box by GAB Tenn
A refined expression of mid-century Scandinavian metalwork, this rectangular jewelry box illustrates the enduring influence of the Art Deco repertoire within Swedish pewter craft (tenn). Executed by the historic Stockholm atelier Guldsmedsaktiebolaget (GAB), the vessel’s sleek architecture is framed by subtly fluted corner columns.
The lid opens to reveal its original, saturated purple velvet lining with integrated dividers, creating a striking material contrast between the cool luster of the exterior and the rich tactile warmth of the interior.
