Jean Puiforcat Art Deco Champagne Bucket
Pure lines and precise angles define this masterwork of French silversmithing, designed by Jean Puiforcat during the height of the 1930s Art Deco movement. Jean Puiforcat—an artist of his time and visionary silversmith—revolutionized the House’s vocabulary by applying a rigorous art of austerity to his creations, inventing modern Art Deco silversmithing.
Handcrafted in Paris, this rare complete edition features Jean Puiforcat's signature synthesis of metal and organic materials, pairing a heavy silver-plated exterior with its rare original Bakelite thermal liner insert, fitted matching lid, and architectural L-shaped dark wood handles. The lower body is grounded by three concentric horizontal ring accents, designed so that once chilled, the silver plate takes on a delicate frosted veil that accentuates its geometric silhouette during service. Engineered to hold cold temperatures while preventing exterior condensation, it remains a quintessential piece of French luxury barware.
